Shiseido Celebrates 150th Anniversary with New Advertising Campaign

Shiseido is celebrating the 150th anniversary of its founding in 2022 with a new advertising campaign.
 
The company has created new ads to be debuted in newspapers in Japan on January 5, 2022. The new campaign will communicate the company’s initiatives for making a sustainable world where people can experience happiness through the power of beauty under its mission “Beauty Innovations for a Better World.”
 
The advertisement visual features a futuristic cosmetics service experience in space with a model, Hana Kondo, receiving online counseling accessible from anywhere anytime and package-free skincare products.

New Logo and Website

Shiseido’s aspiration is expressed in its new anniversary logo by using a motif of chiffon fluttering, signifying the opening of the next era. With color gradation starting from Shiseido’s corporate color, Shiseido Red, the color scheme symbolizes “coexistence, harmony, and diversity.” Throughout the year 2022, Shideido will use the 150th anniversary logo for various occasions.
 
In addition to the anniversary logo, the Shiseido 150th anniversary special website launched on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. The company will continuously update the content throughout the year including an introduction to its corporate philosophy and the latest anniversary-related activities in each region.
